This is him, on the COVER of our little local newspaper, "The Pantagraph" on Christmas morning.
We were in the car, on our way out of town Christmas morning, when I got a call from someone in my church, alerting me to Dave's new notoriety. We pulled a quick U-turn, drove into the nearest Circle K and bought ourselves a paper. As I laid down my 80-cents, so much of me wanted to be like, "Hey, you see this rockstar in white? Yeah, he's my husband!" But the dude behind the counter was too busy regaling his coworker with stories of his drunken debaucheries. Soooo, I said thank you very much for the paper- AND the new insight into your life- and moved on.
Dave. Vicar. Rockstar.

Holy white robe! He should wear that thing like, all the time. Also, not to be like one upping him or anything, but we were on the cover of the seattle times for our "swanky new dorms". I mean, let's be honest, we are still talked about in that town.
Hahahahaha!! If ONLY I still had THAT photo!
But really, I am SO glad that season of life is over. It got so old being mobbed by adoring fans every time we stepped outside. Fame is such a hardship.
